QR Code Internal Transfer
The “QR Code Internal Transfer” allows customers to make an instant transfer to another BRED Bank Solomon customer without having to fill in the necessary transfer details. This is both a total innovation for Solomon Islands banks and an exclusive feature for our customers.

BRED EFTPOS terminals at our partners
Like the QR Code, the Electronic Funds Transfer at Point of Sale or EFTPOS for short, is a way to transfer funds from one account to another. The EFTPOS however, only allows transfers from a customer’s bank account to a merchant (business) account.
For BRED SMART and VISA cards, the standard fee per transaction is $0.75. This fee is identical to the one we apply to withdrawals at BRED ATMs.
BRED EFTPOS machines already allow our customers to pay for their purchases in 6 stores: Sullivans (Point Cruz), Sullivans (Kukum), Jing Spa, King of Meatz and Break Water Cafe.
The EBS Team along with the Business Banking Team are working on increasing the number of merchants.
