Co-organized with the company “Cessions Acquisitions”, the BCI attended a conference on investment in Vanuatu which took place at the end of February at the RED room (Baie des Citrons, New Caledonia).
The conference aimed to present to potential investors from New Caledonia, the Vanuatu economic environment, the conditions for setting up a business and the growth potential of the local economy.
Several topics were discussed during the evening:
- Why invest in Vanuatu?
- The terms and conditions of investment
- Possible guarantees in New Caledonia
- Financing opportunities
Alexandre PERRET, Financial Director of BRED Vanuatu presented BRED’s activities in the country and the major projects they accompany (industry, ship, aviation, housing estate, etc.).
Erika CAILLARD, Deputy Director of the BCI’s Corporate Department, presented the BCI’s activities and the support provided to Caledonian clients for international investment projects.
As two banks of the same group, the BCI and BRED Bank Vanuatu work together on financing to develop the regional economy of the South Pacific.
This BCI / BRED Bank Vanuatu initiative demonstrated the importance of the BRED Group’s presence in the Pacific to help and accompany clients in their growth opportunities in the region.
