BRED Bank Solomon recently introduced the BRED Merchant QR Code.
The Merchant QR Code is the first of its kind issued by a commercial bank here in the Solomons.
Already, six merchants have the QR Code displayed at their shops allowing BRED customers to transfer straight from their account to that of the Merchant’s.
Customers prefer to use the QR Code transfer as it is fast and efficient and does not have any fees attached to it. It is also convenient for the Merchant since they do not have to deal with physical cash.
BRED Bank Solomon continues to encourage customers to use the QR code for transfers and hopes to increase the number of Merchants soon.
