The BCI is proud to be the bank of choice for New Caledonians, and makes local service a priority. To enable the largest possible number of people to benefit from various events held throughout the year by ensuring that cash withdrawals are not an issue, the BCI makes regular use of its mobile branch.
The logistics for this service are complex but well established, enabling it to travel around the territory and thus support the people of New Caledonia at important times in the country’s life. This year, for example, the mobile branch was used at the fair in Bourail (a town two hours away from capital city Nouméa). The rural community event welcomed more than 25,000 visitors, and more than 1,000 withdrawals were made from the machine in just two days, enabling locals to take full advantage of the activities and stands on offer.
With more than 25,000 visitors this year, the Bourail fair is once again the Broussard event of reference.
By deploying its mobile branch on the fairgrounds, BCI recorded more than 1,000 withdrawals from its cash dispenser in just two days.
Proximity to Caledonians is a priority. It is at the heart of our mission.
