BRED Bank Solomon recently added the cash power top-up feature on BRED Solomon Connect.
This feature is part of the latest update of BRED Solomon Connect, version 64. It will enable customers to pay for electricity using Internet and Mobile Banking.
In Solomon Islands, most houses use a prepaid electricity plan. Whilst the prepaid plan offers an affordable and manageable solution to high electricity, it is inaccessible to many after hours, during weekends and public holidays when cash power outlets are closed.
Adding this feature to BRED Solomon Connect is a convenient solution for customers.
Customers can pay for electricity anytime and anywhere. It is also cheaper as it omits costs associated with ATM withdrawals and transport to pay for their electricity.
Cash power top-up has been highly anticipated. Since the announcement of the feature being live on Tuesday 21 December 2021, it has received positive feedback from both customers and non-customers.
Other anticipated features are the cash water top up and mobile top-up.
Two other banks also provide cash power top-up solutions however; this is great news for BRED Bank Solomon’s growing customer base.
BRED Bank Solomon will continue to upgrade its products to provide quality service for its customers.
