The International Women’s Group (IWG) in Vanuatu is a charitable association supporting the women and children of Vanuatu. Best known for their International Food Festival, a much-awaited annual event, they also aim to raise awareness about the rights and issues affecting women in Vanuatu.
This year the International Food Festival will take place on Saturday 29 October. Funds raised will go towards rural community projects, such as refurbishing schools and dispensaries, but also equipping women with income-generating skills such as sewing or first-aid training.
BRED, which has been a main sponsor over the last few years, has donated Vatu 100K to IWG.
