“We’re thrilled to continue with our commitment in the Western Division as we grow and innovate with our customers,” said Thierry CHARRAS-GILLOT, Chief Executive Officer of BRED Bank (Fiji). “This new space complements the current needs of our loyal customers and will be sufficient to serve new customers who are eager to join us.”

The redesigned branch will feature closed offices for Relationship Managers, giving customers that added comfort and privacy to discuss their financial needs and goals. With optional appointment-based services, customers will make immediate contact with the banking staff, who will be ready to serve them upon arrival. This new branch helps disseminate the Banks global customer approach and value-added advisory model that define its motto “Banking Without Distance”.

“Furthermore, our investment will help create more economic opportunities for the people of Lautoka and the Western Division. By expanding our branch capacity coupled with the recent capital injection by our shareholders, we will continue to lend to more customers, who further invest in their projects and create jobs.” Mr. CHARRAS-GILLOT added.

“This investment is also helping our contractors keep their staff employed during these difficult times. We acknowledge and thank our contractors and consultants for the agility shown and for keeping the ball rolling despite the challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic.” Mr. CHARRAS-GILLOT said in concluding remarks.
