As part of its social responsibilities, BCIMR is supporting the Obock soccer club, which plays in the third division.

After several years of absence from the national soccer championship, the Obock soccer club is back in the competition since this new season. To start the championship on a good basis, the Obock team has the support of BCIMR.

The president of the club, Mr. Dato Gass, signed a partnership protocol with the deputy general manager of the BCIMR, Mr. Abdallah Ibrahim Abdallah, on Sunday 5 December.

The signing ceremony, which took place at the bank’s headquarters, was an opportunity to formalise the partnership between the Obock soccer club and BCIMR.  The event took place in the presence of the president of the regional council of Obock, Mohamed Houmed, a great soccer fan and sponsor of the club. Speaking on the occasion, BCIMR’s Deputy General Manager, Mr. Abdallah Ibrahim Abdallah, said that «this partnership marks once again our willingness to support Djiboutian sports and youth. »
