BCI highlights the careers of young New Caledonians

Origin Talk, the podcast accompanied by the BCI and hosted by the mk2 Dumbéa cinema, highlights the careers of inspiring young Caledonians who are entrepreneurs and activists for a sustainable future.  They’re all under 30 and they’re making a difference in New Caledonia with their social and community-minded businesses and associations!

Created in 2022 by Fanny Nosmas, founder of Origine Café and host of Origin Talk, the podcast has already welcomed 5 New Caledonian projects and associations and has attracted over 300 cross-generational viewers.

Throughout the year, 5 events and 12 podcasts will be organised with the same objective: to discover innovative, responsible and committed projects by young New Caledonians who are promoting a new way of consuming. The programme is divided into several parts. Before the film, Fanny Nosmas introduces the debate by presenting the guest and his or her project. The project leader presents his idea, followed by a question-and-answer session with the audience.

It’s a chance for young New Caledonians to present their project and choose a film related to the project, which will be screened in the cinema. It’s also a chance to talk to other young entrepreneurs, to meet future partners, other players in sustainable development or the solidarity economy, and to raise their profile.

Ce concept est décliné sous un format podcast, pour porter un peu plus le message sur des plateformes telles que YouTube, TikTok ou Instagram.
