BCI and BRED: Working together to boost international trade in New Caledonia

From April 16th to 19th, 2024, Juliane KELLER and Elisabeth DE OLIVEIRA, a team of International Commerce specialists at BRED, traveled to New Caledonia to provide guidance to BCI employees on international business development. In total, these experts offered three training sessions and engaged with 30 Front Office employees and 7 International Operations Service employees from BCI.

To further support and specialize the teams, Juliane and Elisabeth accompanied them to around fifteen client meetings, enabling them to assess client needs, reactivate certain strategies, and focus on international exchange products to greatly enhance existing commercial relationships.

In their area of expertise, Juliane and Elisabeth also participated in a networking conference co-organized by BCI, New Caledonia Trade and Invest (Export Cluster in New Caledonia), and Bpifrance. This event brought together around thirty companies seeking to enhance their knowledge of available tools to aid their export development and better manage import regulations.

This visit allowed BCI’s sales teams to sharpen their sales pitch, supported by BRED experts. Additionally, it strengthened the relationship between BCI’s operational teams and BRED to optimize future exchanges for the benefit of New Caledonian clients.
