We are pleased to announce the appointment of Laurent Samsoen as Head of the Metropolitan France Commercial Network with effect from Monday 20 November 2023. He will join the Executive Committee.
Laurent Samsoen, will be responsible for overseeing the entire Metropolitan France sales network. He joins the Executive Committee and reports to Éric Montagne, Executive Vice President, Commercial Banking.
Laurent Samsoen began his career in 1992 as Investment Manager at SDR (société de développement régional) Champex in Reims. In 2000, he joined the Caisse d’Epargne Grand Est Europe (BPCE Group) as Regional Manager for the Ardennes region, and in 2005 became Head of Commercial Efficiency and Specialised Channels. In 2009, he joined the Caisse d’Epargne Loire Drôme Ardèche (BPCE Group) as Head of Marketing, Multichannel Distribution and Communications, before becoming Head of Business Development and a member of Exco in 2014. In 2021, he was recruited by My Money Group to head up the business and development aspects of the takeover of the retail bank HSBC France.
