She is in charge of the Legal and Social Affairs Department, the Corporate Legal Affairs Department, the Custodian Department, the Compliance Department, the Investment Services Compliance Department, as well as supervising the Human Resources Department and the Strategy and Transformation Department, which remain on the Executive Committee. In this capacity, she will oversee the transformation of the BRED Group.

Béatrice Gosserez began her legal career in 1993 at AXA IM in Paris, before joining the Group in London, where she was appointed Group Deputy General Counsel. In 2001, she was recruited by Fidelity Gestion as Company Secretary. In 2011, she joined Dexia Crédit Local and played an active part in the creation of SFIL following the break-up of Dexia. In 2013, she became General Secretary and a member of SFIL’s Executive Committee, as well as a member of the Supervisory Board of Caisse française de financement local.

She holds a post-graduate diploma (DEA) in business and economic law from the University of Paris-Panthéon Sorbonne and a certificate of aptitude for the legal profession (Certificat d’aptitude à la profession d’avocat, 1993).

Jean-Paul Julia, Chief Executive Officer of BRED, said: “I am delighted that Béatrice Gosserez has joined BRED. Her recognised experience in the banking sector, both in France and internationally, will enable us to meet future challenges in terms of banking security as well as regulatory and legal issues. She will lead the transformation of our bank and will also be perfectly able to embody and bring to life the cooperative values that are at the heart of our governance”.
