112,500$ to support the victims of cyclone Yasa

Tropical storm Yasa hit Fiji hard on December 17, 2020 (read Washington Post for more details : https://www.washingtonpost.com/weather/2020/12/17/cyclone-yasa-hits-fiji/). Residents of communities affected by tropical storm Yasa will benefit from a donation of 112 500 dollars from the BRED bank.

People living in the areas affected by tropical cyclone Yasa will benefit from additional aid following BRED Bank Fiji’s donation of $112,500 to the Prime Minister’s Tropical Cyclone Yasa relief fund.

This donation illustrates our commitment to Fiji’s communities. This financial assistance will help rebuild damaged homes, schools and infrastructure.

The Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Board of Directors, management and staff of BRED Bank Fiji for this generous gesture adding that the government will ensure that this donation reaches those families in need as there is still a lot of relief work to be carried out in affected communities.
